Comfy Jammies for Children Going through Cancer Treatments

Julia, the founder of Julia’s Jammies was diagnosed with Leukemia in August 2015. After more than 2 years battling this terrible disease, she successfully finished her treatment in December 2017. As an outpatient of Cincinnati Children’s, Julia remembered how comforting it was when she received comfy pajamas from her friends and family members as gifts during her time in and out of hospital treatment. For that reason, she decided to share the same joy with kids being treated at the oncology center.

Many of the children that start cancer treatments at the center come in unexpectedly and don’t bring much with them. Some jammies can surely help them be just a little more comfortable during scary hospital treatments. We cannot begin to imagine how heartbreaking it can be for parents to receive a cancer prognosis for their little ones and have decided to offer some comfort through our support of Julia’s Jammies.
